Bruce Springsteen Live at Glastonbury!

Here is a professional video recording of the legendary, Bruce Springsteen, performing his headlining set at the 2009 Glastonbury Festival. The crowd pleasing set saw the E Street Band win over a young festival crowd with their high energy, passionate rock and roll. This is epitomized by Springsteen getting close and personal with his British fans with repeated runs from the stage to sing in amongst the front row.

Hits like "Dancing in the Dark" and "Born to Run" got the crowd moving, while heartfelt performances of "The River" and "Outlaw Pete" wowed the audience as Springsteen made his first appearance at the famous Somerset event. The only shame with this recording is that it has been cut and does not feature the entire concert, including Springsteen's cover of Joe Strummer's "Coma Girl" that he performed in remembrance of the Clash's late front man. Brilliant nonetheless, enjoy!

Set List: Badlands, Prove It All Night, Outlaw Pete, Out In the Street, Working on a Dream, Waitin' On a Sunny Day, The Promised Land, The River, Born to Run, Thunder Road, American Land, Glory Days (Louie Louie Outro), Dancing in the Dark

Interpol live at Glastonbury 25/06/2005

Interpol is an American band who formed in 1998, and is one of the bands who helped begin the post-punk revival in the early 2000's. They are associated with the New York indie scene, and have been compared to post-punk bands such as Joy Division, Jesus and Mary Chain and Echo and the Bunnymen. Their sound is generally a mix of deep bass throb, harmonized guitar, with a snare heavy drum mix, and emotional, monotone-esque singing. Their first album Turn On the Bright Lights was highly acclaimed, and their two subsequent records, Antics and Our Love to Admire, have cemented them at the forefront of modern indie rock.

This video file is of Interpol live at the famous Glastonbury Festival in 2005. Interpol play a blistering set in front of a huge, adoring Glastonbury crowd. The video image quality for this video is not of DVD quality; however, the sound is very good and it is well worth a watch. A highlight of this show is the highly atmospheric live version of "NYC". Enjoy!

Setlist:

Slow Hands
NARC
Say Hello To The Angels
